Idk... But I just came up with a theory of why they hate zero....
Basically, in the time-period of the X-series Fem!X and Zero had married each other; and they lived together happily for awhile until Zero did SOMETHING (IDK what) and had made her get divorced with him. Zero, upset and depressed, Put himself in suspended animation until, of course Ciel awoke him. During the time he was gone however, X found out she was pregnant.... with Quadruplets. Bitter and angry, she put the data that had been forming in her "womb" (cause I doubt that they physically had children. I think that the soul/program it's self is created in the female host and later extracted and put into a physical form.) In a static state, however, they had all since been completed and when X died the core-programs where found (IDK who found them....Axl?) along her remains and put up later for further use.
When copyX was created, Copy's creator found the data pools and made the four guardians. Without memory of their father and being told the COPY was their mother, they considered Zero as another part of the resistance and could care more or less what happened to him.
Zero, however, got quite a headache from finding his dead exwife and children he HAD NO IDEA EXISTED UNTIL NOW and the explainaton they didn't know who he was and wanted him dead. with the knowledge that they where his own SONS AND DAUGHTERS he couldn't bring himself to kill them, even if they wanted to end his own life....
There's A LOT of flaws in that. >.>; sorry.
I've never played mmz so IDK what REALLY happens in the series I'm sorry if there are flaws in it....
